Supporting Unique Paths to Lifelong Health

Meet Dr. John Starke, DO

Hi, my name is Dr. Starke, founder and primary provider of Mosaic Health and Longevity.

I am an ABEM-certified Emergency Medicine physician with more than a decade of experience caring for patients in critical settings. I completed my Emergency Medicine residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in 2013, and I continue to hold a deep respect and love for the field of emergency medicine. Over the years, however, I have become increasingly frustrated by the limitations of our healthcare system— where rushed visits and fragmented care often prevent patients from receiving the quality and attention they truly deserve.

Guided by a lifelong passion for health, fitness, and longevity, I am now expanding my practice to focus on anti-aging and functional medicine. As an active member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), I’m applying the latest science of age management and preventative care to my patients.

My perspective is deeply personal.

I lost both of my parents to neurodegenerative diseases, an experience that has shaped my compassion and reinforced my belief in the importance of treating disease at its onset rather than waiting until its terminal stages. I am also married and the proud father of two children, including a daughter on the autism spectrum who has taught me patience, empathy, and the value of individualized care.
